I’ve bought Christian the California Pizza Kitchen bbq chicken frozen pizza so many times I can’t even begin to count. I have a feeling my Mom has bought it for my Dad even more. It’s so good and simple enough that I knew I could easily recreate it. Luckily, the Pioneer Woman (as always) came to the rescue! She shared her version of the CPK bbq chicken pizza here and I followed along.
I love her pizza dough recipe – so easy and so good. We ate this pizza twice in a week – so I’d say it’s a big win.
If you have a carnivore in the house, make this pizza. Two thumbs up from my kitchen to yours. Thanks for reading and don’t forget to enter the Favery giveaway! XO –

Oh yum! My mom got a wonderful pizza stone last Christmas so we’ve had a ton of fun “experimenting” over the last year but this looks too good to pass up!
Such a great summer recipe – Pioneer Woman, you can do no wrong in my eyes! I’ll have to try this asap.

do you use a pizza stone? I just got one and have no idea how to use it. If you use one, do you oil it and how long do you bake? If you dont, ignore please 🙂 hahaha
Yes!! I love my pizza stone. You place it in the oven with some cornmeal or flour on it BEFORE you turn on the oven. It needs to warm up with the oven because if you place a room temp pizza stone in the 450-500 temp oven it will break! Once it’s warmed up with the oven, I place the rolled out dough on the stone and layer the sauce and toppings on it and bake for about 10-15 minutes.
I hope this helps and you try it out! I have a feeling you’ll quickly be addicted like I am!! XO –
I love BBQ Chicken pizza, and this version looks so fresh! Thank you!!
Yum! This sounds delish! I used to make BBQ chicken pizza all the time, I need to do that again asap. Maybe this time I’ll make my own crust…
It’s SO EASY!! You can totally do it without a hitch!
This looks so good! I love pizza so I’ll have to try this out!
